The Salty Charlotte is a craft donut shop and coffeehouse that has opened its first North Carolina locations in the South End. Known for its “artful” donuts made with high-quality ingredients, the shop aims to be a community gathering spot. In addition to donuts, it serves coffee and has a modern, welcoming atmosphere with ample indoor seating. Artisanal donuts with unique flavors, like the cinnamon honey bun and lemon ricotta, alongside a refined coffee menu. The atmosphere is modern, fun, and community-focused environment with plenty of seating. The shop was designed to be a place for people to gather, socialize, or grab a treat to go. The Salty Donut started as a pop-up in Miami in 2015 and has since expanded to multiple states.
