Located in the heart of Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood, Haberdish is a mill town-inspired Southern kitchen and craft cocktail bar. The restaurant pays homage to the district’s textile heritage, once known as North Charlotte, through its name—a combination of “haberdashery” and “dish”—and its rustic-cool interior. Decor details include Edison bulb fixtures, salvaged denim-covered banquettes from the Greensboro Cone Mills plant, and bar taps made from reused mill spindles. The menu centers on Southern comfort food, famously recognized for its crispy fried chicken and family-style sides. The cocktail program features “apothecary” and pre-Prohibition style drinks, often served with unique elements like floral ice spheres. Reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity. The restaurant offers indoor seating, counter service, and a heated, screened-in outdoor patio. Parking can be challenging; paid lots and limited street parking are available.
