The Chamber by Wooden Robot, located at 416 E. 36th St., is a 15-barrel urban farmhouse brewery and the second outpost of the popular South End brand. Situated in the heart of NoDa right next to the 36th Street light rail station, it serves as the center for the brewery’s expanded wood-aging and sour beer programs.hile they serve fan favorites like the Good Morning Vietnam (coffee vanilla blonde ale), this location specifically focuses on farmhouse ales and sours. You can view their oak foeders and barrels directly from the taproom. The venue offers an “industrial-modern” aesthetic with high ceilings and a rustic vibe. It features a large downstairs taproom, a street-level patio, and a highly popular rooftop biergarten with views of the neighborhood and light rail. Unlike the South End location, The Chamber does not have a full in-house kitchen. Instead, it hosts a rotating lineup of local food trucks Wednesday through Sunday. The space is a community hub, hosting Thursday Trivia, seasonal makers’ markets like the 36th Street Market, and frequent pet-friendly social gatherings. The brewery is fully dog-friendly (including indoor areas) and transitions from a relaxed afternoon hangout to a high-energy social spot in the evenings.
