Sycamore Brewing was formerly located at 2161 Hawkins St. in Charlotte’s South End but closed that original taproom in 2022 to relocate to a massive new space next door at 2151 Hawkins St. The original site was a staple of the neighborhood for over eight years, known for its lively beer garden, rotating food trucks, and “Mountain Candy” IPA. It closed to make way for a 24-story apartment tower, prompting the move into its current 21,000-square-foot, multi-level facility at The Line.
